My Journey into researching Amelia Earhart...

I choose Amelia Earhart, the first female pilot to travel across the Atlantic Ocean. At first My partner and I choose Besty Ross regarding the American Flag. Once we began to do research we notice this subject did not catch our attention. One day during research we ran across Amelia Earhart, at first we did not want to start all over again with the paper work and the researching; but when we heard she was traveling over the Atlantic Ocean one day and disappeared... we just had to research her for our National History Day project. Knowing that Amelia Earhart had disappeared and no one knew where she was at set off my imagination for finding out the closest and reasonable answer to why and how she disappeared. That is why I choose to work on Amelia Earhart for my National History Day project.
